Carissa is the girl who thinks she can get away with anyone. In her mind, everyone loves her and they let her do anything. In all actuality, no one can stand her. She has her head too far up in the clouds to realize the looks people give her. Her friends aren’t even really her friends. They are just her friends for the things she can get them or what she can do for them. Everyone at the school can see it but her. No one likes her enough to actually tell her though. If people got to know her, the real her and not the facade that she puts up, they’d realize that she’s actually a really nice girl. She would do anything for her friends and people typically try and take advantage of that. She’ll skip class and get in trouble just because a friend wants to go shopping instead of go to their history class. She’s loyal til the end, but people aren’t loyal to her.

 •What Happened at the Party?

Claire had been a mess that night. Her boyfriend had just broke up with her that day to go be with, who she thought was, her best friend. Still, she had to be at the party. How else would he know that she was fine? How else would he know that he had messed her up emotionally? No, she had to be there to show him that he didn’t matter to her anymore. Once she got there though, she broke down. There he was, on the couch with her. It was all too hard for her. She went to the darkest corner that was available and just cried. She didn’t think anyone could see her, but apparently someone could. Jason Bender walked up to her. She thought he was going to be his usual snarky self and comment on how she deserved it. He surprised her though and was nice to her. She needed someone to be nice to her right now, no matter how much she couldn’t stand the person. They started talking though and he was actually a good person. Before she knew it, she was kissing him. She didn’t know what had overcome her. Maybe it was that she just needed someone, but it felt nice. Things progressed and they were on their way up to one of the rooms.  She wanted to talk to him about that night, but everytimg she tried getting near him, he would avoid her like the plague. She wondered if she did something wrong or if it just didn’t mean as much to him as it had to her.
